Indian Air Force unveiled its digital camouflage uniform

On the occasion of IAF day, the Indian Air Force (IAF) introduced a new battle uniform for its personnel. The first image of the digital camouflage uniform was unveiled by Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari in Chandigarh during the Air Force's 90th anniversary celebrations.

Earlier this year, the Indian Army also transitioned to outfitting its men with digital camouflage. The original organic patterns have been replaced with pixelated graphics in the new uniform, which is distinct from earlier iterations.

Digital camouflage uniforms are now worn by the majority of combat forces and militaries worldwide. Regardless of the terrain, the new design pattern enables military men to operate with greater flexibility.

An IAF official stated, "We already have a battle uniform, but the pattern has been modified to something called digital camouflage."

However, a flypast and demonstrations were held over Chandigarh's Sukhna Lake which involved close to 80 helicopters and transport planes. Additionally, the recently introduced locally manufactured Light Combat Helicopter Prachand was also featured at the occasion.
