North Korea Can Destroy America In Just 33 Min, Claims Chinese Defence Scientist

According to scientist, North Korea possesses a powerful ballistic missile that can destroy the American country in just 33 minutes

Amidst the ongoing war-like tension worldwide, Beijing’s defence scientists’ alarming predictions about North Korea's military capabilities are likely to fuel a new global concern.

According to them, North Korea possesses a powerful ballistic missile that can destroy the American country in just 33 minutes.

The Chinese prediction came following the military exercises taking place between the US and South Korea, and North Korea issuing threats against America.

Meanwhile, the ballistic missile was recently launched by North Korea near the Japanese border and is a nuclear-capable weapon.

According to reports, Chinese defence experts claim that if the US missile defence network fails to intercept it, the North Korean missile can reach Central America in 1,997 seconds, roughly 33 minutes.

It added, the Hwasong-15 missile, fired by North Korea for the first time in 2017, is the focus of this research published in the Chinese-language journal Modern Defence Technology.

The predictions are further supported by the research team led by Tang Yuan of the Beijing Institute of Electronic Systems Engineering stating, the two-stage missile is a nuclear-capable weapon with an effective range of 13,000 km enough to hit the entire United States.

Reports suggest the Chinese team even claims that the Hwasong-15 missile, originated from Suncheon in central North Korea and targets Colombia in the Central American state of Missouri.

It adds the US missile defence headquarters would be alerted about 20 seconds later, and the first batch of intercepting missiles would take off from Fort Greely in Alaska within 11 minutes. If the first attempt fails, another wave of interceptors will be followed from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.

While the US has not responded officially against Chinese research, China's research is underscoring the rising tension between the US and China, with experts claiming any conflict involving North Korea could easily escalate into a global crisis.
