The Inaugural Trilateral Global Summit Held In London Echoed The Sentiments Of Enhancing “Trade For Peace”

The inaugural Trilateral Global Summit (19-20 June) convened by World Humanitarian Drive (WHD) was held in London with participants from over 25 countries. The Summit echoed the sentiments of enhancing “Trade for Peace”.

The inaugural Trilateral Global Summit (19-20 June) convened by World Humanitarian Drive (WHD) was held in London with participants from over 25 countries, including Bank CEO’s, Policy Makers, Journalist, Corporate Heads, Business Leaders, Politicians from UK, Portugal, Morocco, Bahrain and India.

Notable keynote addresses from CEO of Doha Bank Dr Raghavan Seetharaman, former Managing Director of World Bank Group Dr James Lee and number of notable figures echoed the sentiments of the summit of enhancing “Trade for Peace” an Idea initiated by Indian origin British, Abdul Basit Syed, founder of WHD to support U.K’s trade relations specially with India and other countries. Abdul Basit said, “This summit has exceeded our expectations in term of the quality of the presentations most importantly trade and investments opportunities that it has enabled between our nations."

The summit session at Croydon Town Hall was hosted by the Worshipful Mayor of Croydon, Humayun Kabir who appointed and honoured WHD Founder Abdul Basit Syed as International Ambassador for Croydon Borough of Greater London. Seetharaman, CEO of Doha Bank conveyed his interest in exploring future investment opportunities. He said the summit has offered such opportunity not only in U.K but India and other countries.

The Trilateral Global Summit focused on promoting integration of global economy and businesses as a pathway for peace. The summit also witnessed the keynote address by Humphrey Hawksley Former BBC Foreign Correspondent,  Abdel Majid Fassi Fihri M.P. Morocco, Angela Guerra M.P Portugal, Sandra Pereira M.P Portugal and Angelina Teny Former Minister Sudan.

It is Intended The Trilateral Global Summit will reconvene in June 2020
